Iran strikes US military support vessel near Oman

Iranian armed forces carried out a strike early Saturday, March 28, against a United States military support vessel operating at a significant distance from the port of Salalah in Oman, according to a report by Iran International.

The information was confirmed by a representative of the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters.

Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari stated that the operation took place far from the coastline and emphasised that Iran continues to respect Oman’s national sovereignty, despite the proximity of the strike to its waters.
