Iran summons German, Austrian ambassadors amid diplomatic tensions
Iran's Foreign Ministry summoned the ambassadors of Germany and Austria in response to the condemnation from both countries regarding Iran's missile strike on Israel.
This diplomatic move follows the summoning of Iranian ambassadors in Berlin and Vienna by the German and Austrian governments earlier in the week, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry labeled the actions of Germany and Austria as “unacceptable measures,” indicating a strong discontent with the international backlash following the missile strike. Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei criticized the Group of Seven (G7) nations, describing their condemnation of Iran's actions as “biased and irresponsible.”
Baghaei attributed the rising instability in West Asia to the military, financial, and political support that the US and other G7 countries provide to Israel, suggesting that these actions exacerbate tensions in the region.
