Iran targets US steel, aluminium industries in Middle East 90th wave of operation “True Promise-4” / VIDEO
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has carried out the 90th wave of Operation “True Promise-4.”
The strikes targeted the US steel and aluminium industries in the region, according to the IRGC's statement cited by Iranian media.
“We warned that any repeat attacks on Iranian industry would lead to the destruction of Israeli and US industrial facilities in the region. However, the enemy, having lost the ability to properly assess the situation after severe defeats, ignored our warnings and attacked Iran’s steel industry. In response to these criminal actions, which caused deaths and injuries among workers, the IRGC’s air and naval forces, in the 90th wave of the ongoing operation that began at dawn, struck and destroyed the following targets:
-
US steel plants in Abu Dhabi, UAE;
-
US steel factories in Abu Dhabi;
-
Previously untouched sections of the US aluminium industry in Bahrain;
-
Rafael weapons manufacturing facilities;
-
US military shelters near Manama.
During the missile and drone operation, dozens of American personnel were reportedly killed or wounded. The impact sites were immediately secured by security forces, though evacuation of the injured continued for several hours.
These strikes serve as a warning: any further attacks on Iranian industry will result in significantly more severe strikes on key Israeli infrastructure and US industrial sites in the region,” the statement said.
