Iran threatens to attack US aircraft carrier's facilities in Red Sea

Iranian military officials have warned that logistical facilities associated with the US aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, currently deployed in the Red Sea, could become military targets, as reported by Iran International, citing the Tasnim News Agency.

A representative of the Central Command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) “Khatam al-Anbiya” stated that the carrier’s presence in the Red Sea is viewed as a threat to Iran, and that service and logistics centres associated with the fleet will be considered targets for Iranian armed forces.
