Iran to hold funeral for Ali Larijani in Tehran on March 18

The funeral of Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, will be held in Tehran today, on March 18.

Larijani will be buried alongside Basij paramilitary chief Major General Gholamreza Soleimani, who was also killed on March 17, as well as crew members of the Iranian frigate IRIS Dena, which sank off the coast of Sri Lanka on March 4 following a strike by a US Navy submarine, Fars news agency reports.
