Iran to honour ceasefire deal if US does, president says
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Tehran will uphold its commitments under an agreement with the United States provided Washington does the same, while warning that Iran would respond firmly to any threats.
In a post on X, Pezeshkian said mutual understanding "is a two-way street" and stressed that Iran's actions would depend on the United States honouring its commitments, Caliber.Az reports.

"If the American side adheres to the agreement, we will also fulfil our commitments," he wrote.
Pezeshkian added that Iran would continue to approach what he described as "unreasonable sabre-rattling and baseless threats" with rationality and dignity, but would "defend decisively and fearlessly" when necessary.
