Iran unleashes new ballistic missile in retaliatory regional strikes

Iran has launched the upgraded “Haj Qasem” ballistic missile for the first time, Tasnim News Agency reports.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed the strike, stating, “Today, the IRGC employed the advanced ‘Haj Qasem’ missile for the first time. Strikes were carried out on headquarters and bases in four countries in the region that served as platforms for recent attacks on Iran.”

Tasnim reported that the missile strikes targeted strategic locations in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, as well as the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
