Iran unveils Qaem-118 air defence missile, Golaleh drone during military exercise PHOTO

Iran’s IRGC Ground Forces showcased advanced military technology during the second phase of their Great Prophet 19 exercise, unveiling the cutting-edge Qaem-118 air defence missile.

This state-of-the-art missile system boasts an impressive range of 25 km and is equipped with radar, electro-optical, and thermal tracking systems, offering high precision, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.

The missile’s fire control radar can also link to multiple launchers simultaneously, enabling it to target a larger number of threats effectively.

In addition to the missile, Iran’s military capabilities were further strengthened with the official delivery of the ‘Golaleh’ destroyer drone to the IRGC Ground Forces.

The drone, capable of reaching up to 450 km in range, is armed with a 50 kg warhead and can destroy a broad spectrum of targets. The Golaleh drone features a jet-powered engine, marking another significant leap in Iran’s technological advancements.

The delivery ceremony was attended by the Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, highlighting the importance of this new asset to the country’s military.
