Iran, Uzbekistan strengthen dialogue on regional developments

Iran and Uzbekistan have discussed regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts during a telephone conversation between the two countries’ foreign ministers.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that he spoke by phone with his Uzbek counterpart Bakhtiyor Saidov, during which the two officials reviewed recent regional developments and ongoing diplomatic initiatives.

The announcement was made by Araghchi in a post on Telegram.

In addition to regional issues, the ministers also discussed matters related to bilateral relations between Iran and Uzbekistan.
