09 March 2026 10:39
Iran’s Prosecutor General issued an official statement warning Iranians living abroad that their property and assets could be confiscated if they engage in “collaboration with the enemy.”
The statement also notes that other punishments under Islamic penal law, including the death penalty, may be applied, per Iranian media.
By “collaboration with the enemy,” Iran’s prosecution refers to any intelligence or espionage activities on behalf of Israel, the United States, or other countries and hostile groups.
