Iran warns Israel of consequences for breaching Lebanon truce

Iran’s Armed Forces have warned that they could launch strikes against Israel if it continues to violate the ceasefire in Lebanon, according to a statement published on the Telegram channel of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

“We warn that if the army of the Zionist regime does not cease its aggressive actions in southern Lebanon, it should expect a firm response,” the statement said.

The Iranian military claimed that Tel Aviv had violated the ceasefire regime in southern Lebanon 84 times over the past two days.
