Iran warns of reciprocal response to any US violation
Iran's Supreme National Security Council warned on Friday (June 19) that Tehran would take "reciprocal measures" if the United States commits any violation or "misstep".
According to IRNA, the council said in a statement that any response would be carried out "in accordance with a pre-determined plan".
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump warned that Washington could resume bombing Iran if Tehran fails to honour certain understandings that were not included in the memorandum of understanding between the two countries.
“If they don’t honor the agreement, some things aren’t even mentioned in the agreement. It’s a memorandum of understanding, but we have an understanding of certain things without writing it, and if they don’t honor that, we’ll probably go back to bombing them,” Trump said at the close of the G7 summit in France.
