Iran warns US, Israel of new strikes if "hostile actions" continue

Iran’s Armed Forces General Staff and the Central Command of Khatam al-Anbia have warned the United States and Israel of possible new strikes if what they described as “hostile actions” continue.

The statement said Iran’s experience during the eight-year war had helped it develop military capabilities that, in the command’s assessment, enabled it to confront the US and Israel during recent escalations, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media. 

The Iranian side also said the regional balance of power had shifted in favour of the Islamic world and identified control of the Strait of Hormuz as one of the key factors in this process.

“We will force our adversaries—first and foremost the U.S. and Israel—to taste the bitterness of even heavier defeats,” the statement said.
