Iran will not tolerate separatist groups, Security Council chief warns
Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, said that Iran will not tolerate the activities of separatist groups within the country.
Larijani stressed that Iran’s armed forces maintain full control over the situation and will respond firmly to any attempts to disrupt public order, Alhadath reports.
His remarks came after Iranian sources rejected reports by Western media claiming that Kurdish militants had entered the country to conduct a ground operation in western Iran.
Addressing residents of Ilam Province, Larijani said stability is being maintained along the entire border with Iraq. He added that the country’s military and security forces are actively working to safeguard Iran’s territory and borders.
Larijani also urged citizens not to panic or react to what he described as psychological provocations, calling on the public to rely only on information from credible sources.
