Iranian adviser accuses Trump of “betraying diplomacy” again
Mohsen Rezaei, a military adviser to Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, has accused US President Donald Trump of undermining diplomatic efforts, amid ongoing tensions between the two countries.
In a post on X, Rezaei criticised Trump’s approach to negotiations, claiming it demonstrates a lack of commitment to dialogue, Caliber.Az reports.

“As expected, the US president is betraying diplomacy for the third time. By continuing the naval blockade and putting forward excessive demands in negotiations, he is increasingly proving that he is not interested in dialogue and is pursuing other goals,” Rezaei wrote.
His remarks come as diplomatic efforts between Washington and Tehran remain uncertain, with both sides yet to reach a clear agreement.
