Iranian cleric accuses US of using "terrorist methods" video
Ayatollah Mohammadi Iraqi, head of the office of Iran’s Supreme Leader in the city of Qom, has accused the United States of resorting to what he described as “the methods of terrorist groups,” calling such actions a “great disgrace.”
Speaking in an interview with Tasnim News Agency, Iraqi said it was shameful, in his view, that the US had “fallen so low and become so weakened” that it allegedly turns to tactics comparable to those used by the “Monafeqin” — the term Iranian authorities use for the People’s Mojahedin Organisation of Iran.
According to Iraqi, Washington is “unable to confront the fighters of Islam on the battlefield and therefore resorts to terror.” He further claimed that “America’s decline has already begun,” arguing that history would remember this period as a stain marked by “having no other path except cowardly killings.”
Iraqi also asserted that “the blood of the martyrs” would ultimately lead to what he described as “the final breaths of the US and the Zionist regime.”
