Iranian defence deputy arrives in Kyrgyzstan for SCO meeting

Iran’s Deputy Defence Minister Major General Reza Talaei-Nik arrived in Kyrgyzstan on April 27 to take part in the Meeting of Defence Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states.

According to the Kyrgyz Defence Ministry’s press service, he was received upon arrival by Major General Talantbek Talipov, Commander of the Air Defence Forces of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces, Caliber.Az reports via Kyrgyz media.

The meeting brings together defence officials from SCO member states for discussions on regional security cooperation and military coordination.
