Iranian FM denounces Macron’s moratorium push as hypocrisy
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi criticised French President Emmanuel Macron’s call for a moratorium on attacks against civilian infrastructure, accusing him of hypocrisy.
Writing on X, Araghchi said that Macron has not uttered a word condemning Israel and the US war against Iran, nor did he condemn Israel when it blew up fuel storage facilities in Tehran, exposing millions to toxins.
Macron has not uttered one word of condemnation of the Israel-US war on Iran. He did not condemn Israel when it blew up fuel storage in Tehran, exposing millions to toxins. His current "concern" didn't follow Israel's attack on our gas facilities. It follows our retaliation. Sad! https://t.co/lyfGbRm9NB

“His current ‘concern’ didn't follow Israel's attack on our gas facilities. It follows our retaliation. Sad!” Araghchi emphasised.
The post followed Macron’s comments on attacks targeting oil and gas facilities in Qatar.
