Iranian FM holds phone ralks with Pakistani, Iraqi Kurdish officials on ceasefire
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has held separate telephone conversations with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Chief of Defence Staff Asim Munir, according to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
The discussions focused on regional developments, ceasefire-related issues, and ongoing diplomatic efforts by Islamabad aimed at facilitating cooperation between the United States and Iran.
Araghchi underscored the importance of Pakistan’s consistent and constructive role in supporting these processes.
In a separate call, Araghchi also held consultations with Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Details of that conversation were not fully disclosed, but it was also reported to have addressed regional developments.
