Iranian FM: Trump turned “America first” into “Israel first”

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has condemned the recent military strikes by Israel and the Donald Trump administration, describing them as “wholly unprovoked, illegal, and illegitimate.”

In a post on X, Araghchi accused Trump of prioritising Israel over the United States, stating that "Trump has turned 'America First' into 'Israel First'—which always means 'America Last,'" Caliber.Az reports.

He added that Iran’s armed forces are prepared to respond and would ensure that aggressors “learn the lesson they deserve.”

The remarks come following strikes on Iranian cities and military facilities carried out by Israel and the United States early on the morning of February 28.
