Iranian lawmaker criticises president Pezeshkian over call for negotiations

Iranian lawmaker Amirhossein Sabeti has criticised remarks by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who recently asked, “If we do not negotiate, what should we do?”

Responding to the comments, Sabeti said: “Didn’t war break out during previous negotiations?”, Caliber.Az reports per Iranian media. 

“So you still want to negotiate until war starts again and our new leader is assassinated too?” he said.
