29 March 2026 18:05
Iran has launched a missile targeting an industrial facility near the Israeli city of Beersheba, Tasnim news agency reported.
“The Iranian missile hit an industrial zone in Beersheba,” the agency said, noting that a large fire broke out at the site.
The affected area, Neot Hovav, located south of Beersheba, is Israel’s main chemical industry hub, producing roughly half of the country’s chemicals. The zone also houses a power station and storage facilities.
According to The Times of Israel, emergency services and medical teams were dispatched to the site. No casualties have been reported.
Earlier, Iran reportedly targeted two aluminium plants in the Middle East linked to U.S. military and aerospace industries.
