Iranian MP seeks escalation with US, calls for ground operation “Where is Trump’s army?”
Iranian lawmaker Mohammad Saleh Jokar expressed his desire for the conflict to escalate into a ground war, aiming to see American forces suffer casualties, and insisted that the ultimate outcome will be determined on the battlefield rather than through negotiations, according to Iranian media.
“I hope this war turns into a ground war so we witness the burial of American soldiers in the Persian Gulf region,” Jokar noted in an interview with Didban Iran.
He also criticised US President Donald Trump, saying: “America, which Trump boasted about and said we have the strongest army in the world — where is it now?”
Jokar further claimed that Iran has yet to deploy its “new tactics and technologies” against the United States and Israel, asserting: “We will determine the final result on the battlefield, diplomacy is no longer enough.”
