Iranian MP vows retaliation over Khamenei, top commanders, officials
The killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several senior military commanders as a result of US-Israeli strikes will be avenged, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Ali Nikzad warned.
Iranian lawmaker said that the planned retaliation would be carried out “at an appropriate time and place, with careful planning,” adding that those responsible should expect to pay a heavy price for their actions, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iran International.
He added that uranium enrichment is carried out exclusively for “peaceful purposes,” calling it Iran’s “absolute right and a clear red line,” that is not subject to negotiation.
The lawmaker also stated that the Islamic Republic will continue to support allied forces in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Syria.
