Iranian MP warns Arab rulers’ palaces could be targeted if Iran attacked
01 May 2026 11:31
An Iranian parliament member has warned that regional leaders’ residences could be targeted if Iran’s senior officials come under attack.
Mahmoud Nabavian, a member of Iran’s parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said that any strike against Iran’s top leadership would trigger wider consequences across the Middle East, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
"If any assault is carried out against our great leaders, none of the kings of the Arab countries or their palaces in the region will remain unscathed. The rulers of the countries in the region must take this threat seriously and prevent the activities of military bases that have been established in their countries," Nabavian said.
