Iranian official: European countries to "pay the price" if they remain silent

European Union countries will "pay the price, sooner of later" if they remain silent on the US-Israeli offensive against Iran, spokesperson for Iran's foreign ministry Esmaeil Baghaei said.

In remarks to Spanish broadcaster TVE on March 5, he also reiterated Tehran's denials that a missile intercepted in Turkish airspace was launched from Iran, Reuters reports.
