Iranian parliament speaker cautions of fierce revenge on Israel
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has vowed that Iran will retaliate against Israel “by any means necessary” following recent attacks.
In a strongly worded statement, Ghalibaf condemned Israel’s actions, accusing the country of bloodshed against Iranian commanders and fighters, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
“Once again, the wicked hand of the Zionist criminal and terrorist gang has been stained with the blood of commanders and fighters in our beloved Iran,” he said, expressing condolences to the Iranian people.
Ghalibaf further described Israel as “the greatest enemy of humanity and the most wicked foe of every individual in the Iranian nation,” citing strikes on residential areas as evidence of Israel’s aggression.
He warned that Israelis and their supporters should expect “severe and regrettable punishment,” adding, “The time is the time for revenge, and this revenge will be taken - by any means and with every tool. We will not let them go, and we will strike a heavy blow upon them. They started this story—but we, God willing, will bring it to an end.”
The parliament speaker reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to defend the nation, declaring that its armed forces will stand resolutely and protect the country “until their last breath.”
