The Iranian police said the pair were arrested in a house in Savojbolagh County in the northern Alborz province.
In the outskirts of Rey, south of Tehran, Iranian authorities announced the dismantlement of a "clandestine drone-bomb factory" linked to Mossad. Inside, security forces said they found 200 kilograms of explosives, 23 drones, launch platforms, and suicide-drone components. In the same operation, at least 28 alleged Israeli agents were arrested across multiple provinces.
The Iranian broadcaster said the two suspects used their hideout to produce bombs, explosive materials, booby traps, and electronic equipment.
Israel launched coordinated airstrikes on multiple sites across Iran, including military and nuclear facilities, on June 13, prompting Tehran to launch retaliatory strikes within hours.
