Iranian president recites Azerbaijani poem in Urmia VIDEO

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian made a visit to West Azerbaijan Province, including the city of Urmia, where he engaged in a series of official and cultural activities, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.

During a session of the Planning and Development Council of West Azerbaijan Province, Pezeshkian delivered a striking cultural moment by reciting an excerpt from the renowned poet Shahriar’s "Greetings to Heydar Baba" in Azerbaijani, highlighting his connection with the local heritage and language.

Beyond the council meeting, the president met with a broad range of figures, including public and cultural leaders, investors, and economic and political activists, underlining his focus on fostering regional development and promoting collaboration between government, business, and society.
