Iranian president to attend BRICS summit in India, ambassador says

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will attend the BRICS summit in India in September, Iran's ambassador to India, Mohammad Fathali, has said.

The 18th BRICS Summit is scheduled to be held in New Delhi from September 17 to 19, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“At this point, we can say that President Pezeshkian will participate in the summit,” the diplomat noted.

The meeting will be held under the theme, "Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability."
