Iranian president visits hospitals treating victims of US, Israeli strikes

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has visited hospitals in Tehran where people injured in recent U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian territory are being treated.

"The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as part of operational oversight and to directly monitor the provision of medical care, visited several hospitals and specialised centres treating those injured in the recent American-Zionist attacks," the president’s press office said.

The president emphasised that the government is obliged to provide all necessary medical resources to accelerate the recovery process, the press office noted.
