Iranian president vows severe retaliation for Larijani assassination

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian vowed to “severely retaliate” against those responsible for the assassination of Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, according to Iranian media.

“The death of Ali Larijani is an extremely sorrowful event, and we will severely retaliate against all those whose hands are stained with the blood of innocent but steadfast defenders of Iran,” Pezeshkian emphasised.
