Iranian, Qatari FMs discuss regional developments, situation in Palestine
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation with Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, during which they exchanged views on regional developments, Araghchi said on his Telegram channel.
The ministers expressed concern over the situation in Palestine and Lebanon amid violations of ceasefire agreements by Israel, ongoing attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, and strikes affecting civilian populations, Araghchi said, per Caliber.Az.
They emphasised the need for international pressure on Israel to ensure full compliance with obligations and to end policies of genocide, occupation, and expansionism.
The conversation also addressed recent developments in Yemen, with both ministers stressing the importance of preserving the country’s territorial integrity and unity.
