Iranian, Saudi FMs discuss efforts to ease regional tensions

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud held a telephone conversation on June 2, during which they discussed ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions across the Middle East.

According to a statement from Iran’s Foreign Ministry, the two ministers exchanged views on recent regional developments and reviewed the latest diplomatic initiatives intended to promote stability and de-escalation in West Asia, Caliber.Az reports. 

The talks come amid continued regional and international efforts to ease tensions and strengthen diplomatic engagement among key Middle Eastern countries. No further details of the discussion were immediately disclosed.
