Iranian VP visits Armenia for talks on transport, energy co-operation

Iranian Vice-President and Head of the Planning and Budget Organisation Seyed Hamid Pourmohammadi has led a delegation on a visit to Armenia.

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the delegation, Caliber.Az reports via  Armenian media.

During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues on the Armenian-Iranian agenda, co-operation in transport, energy, trade and the economy, as well as the modernisation of the border crossing checkpoint and increasing its capacity.

The parties also underlined the importance of the Armenian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission and agreed to continue co-operation within that framework.
