IRGC arrests suspect after vehicle attack on checkpoint in Lorestan

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has arrested a man accused of attacking a checkpoint with a vehicle in Iran’s western Lorestan province, according to the IRGC commander in Chegeni.

The commander said the incident took place on April 30 at the entrance to Sarab-e Dowreh, where a checkpoint was targeted. The attack left a member of the Basij forces injured.

According to the official, the suspect has been detained and handed over to judicial authorities for further investigation.
