IRGC commander brands Iran-US memorandum "worthless garbage"
An Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander has dismissed the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States as "worthless," saying anyone who trusted US President Donald Trump's signature had been mistaken.
The remarks by Saeed Ghasemi came after Trump declared that the agreement aimed at ending the conflict with Iran was effectively over, Caliber.Az reports.

"The so-called memorandum was, in principle, a worthless scrap and garbage from day one," Ghasemi said in a post on X.
The IRGC commander also called for the "trumpet of war" to be sounded "with full force," signaling Iran's readiness for confrontation and retaliation.
"We are the men of this battlefield," Ghasemi wrote, underscoring Tehran's determination to continue resisting its adversaries.
