06 May 2026 15:41
The naval forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have stated that safe and stable passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be ensured following what they described as the “neutralisation of threats from the aggressor” and the introduction of new maritime protocols.
“After the neutralisation of threats from the aggressor and the introduction of new protocols, safe and stable passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be ensured,” the IRGC said in a statement, as cited by Iran International.
IRGC representatives also expressed gratitude to ship captains and vessel owners operating in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman for complying with Iran’s navigation rules in the Strait of Hormuz.
