IRGC reports two members killed in ammunition explosion PHOTO

The IRGC has reported that two of its members were killed in Iran’s Qom province in an ammunition explosion involving ordnance left over from recent combat operations, according to Entekhab.

Further details surrounding the incident have not yet been clarified.

The ‌IRGC is an elite military force whose purpose is to protect Shi'ite Muslim clerical rule in Iran. It controls large parts ​of Iran's ​economy.

Both the ⁠IRGC and Hezbollah are already designated as terrorist groups by ​the United States and some other ​countries.
