ISNA: Iran's nuclear programme could be addressed in 60-day talks
If the US fulfils its commitments and progress is achieved on the first stage of a memorandum of understanding, Iran’s nuclear file could be addressed during 60-day negotiations, according to Iranian news agency ISNA, which cited a senior Iranian diplomat.
“The nuclear issue, uranium enrichment, and stocks of highly enriched uranium will be reviewed during 60-day negotiations in exchange for the lifting of sanctions and the full unfreezing of Iran’s blocked assets, and US forces will be fully withdrawn from areas adjacent to Iran,” the diplomat said.
He also added that the management of the Strait of Hormuz is a matter of bilateral relations between Iran and Oman, and that Tehran is currently holding talks with Muscat on this issue.
