Israel conducts airstrikes on over 200 sites in Iran, military says VIDEO
The Israeli military has said that its air force carried out a series of strikes across western and central Iran over the past 24 hours, targeting more than 200 locations, including missile launchers, defence systems, and weapons production facilities.
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that dozens of fighter jets carried out 20 wide-scale operations guided by military intelligence. The strikes are part of Operation Roaring Lion, which the IDF said has involved hundreds of waves of airstrikes aimed at reducing missile threats toward Israeli territory, Caliber.Az reports.
"Since the start of Operation Roaring Lion, the Israeli Air Force has completed hundreds of waves of strikes targeting Iranian terror regime infrastructure in order to reduce missile fire toward Israeli territory," the statement reads.
