Israel hits Tehran city centre in overnight airstrikes VIDEO

On June 20, the Israeli military launched a powerful overnight assault on central Tehran, targeting key military and nuclear infrastructure across the Iranian capital.

According to a statement released by the Israeli army’s press service, more than 60 Israeli Air Force fighter jets took part in the coordinated operation, Caliber.Az reports.

The aircraft dropped around 120 munitions on a range of military sites, including missile production facilities and the Spand nuclear development centre.

Among the specific targets struck were factories involved in manufacturing missile components and processing raw materials for engine systems. The attack marks one of the most extensive Israeli air operations on Iranian soil to date.
