Israel's delegation highlights climate adaptation solutions With 20 companies participating in COP29
Adam Schalimtzek, head of the International Relations Department at Israel’s Ministry of Environmental Protection, stated that Israel’s involvement in the COP29 conference could make a significant contribution to the discussions on climate adaptation.
A delegation from Israel, including 20 companies, is participating in COP29, with a strong focus on climate adaptation solutions, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
"I would like to express my gratitude to the Government of Azerbaijan for organising and hosting this event. I believe Israel can make the greatest impact at COP29 in the field of adaptation. Both the logistics and operations, as well as the negotiations and overall organisation, are very impressive," Schalimtzek said.
He emphasised the importance of participating in the talks and discussions at the event, noting that the Israeli companies present at COP29 are showcasing innovative solutions in climate change adaptation.
These companies are involved in various sectors, including agriculture, energy, and other industries critical to addressing climate challenges.
"Our minister and delegation are here to meet with colleagues from around the world to discuss how we can collaborate to achieve global climate goals, and also to offer mutual support in adaptation and mitigation efforts," Schalimtzek added.
