Israeli defence minister confirms killing of Iran’s Larijani in airstrike

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz confirmed that Iran’s “de facto leader,” Ali Larijani, was killed in an air force strike, Ynet News reports.

“I was just briefed by the Chief of Staff that National Security Council Secretary Larijani and the head of the Basij were eliminated tonight and have joined the head of the annihilation program Khamenei and all the villains of the axis of evil in the depths of hell,” Katz said, referring to Iran’s supreme leadership and military figures.
