Israeli envoy: Iranian people biggest victim of Iran's regime

The biggest victim of the Iranian regime is its people, said Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Deek.

“Iran is perhaps the main source of instability and wars in the Middle East, the South Caucasus and beyond. Iran is a global problem and therefore the whole world must stop it. We see that the biggest victim of the Iranian regime is its people,” the ambassador told Report, adding that everyone suffers from the Iranian regime, its policies towards women and freedom of expression.

According to Deek, more people are executed in Iran than in any other country per capita.

“They torture people daily in the Evin prison. They hang people just because they express their opinion [and] support freedom. All these people want is to be free, to live the normal life that every Azerbaijani and every Israeli has,” he said.
