Israeli forces enter village in Syria’s Quneitra countryside
Israeli forces entered the village of Al-Samdaniya Al-Sharqiya in the northern countryside of Quneitra on December 2.
A force consisting of two tanks and 14 military vehicles advanced toward the village, where troops established a checkpoint, halted traffic, and conducted searches of residents and passers-by, Caliber.Az reports via SANA.
A day earlier, Israeli units had moved into several other locations in the region, including Al-Hamriya hill between the city of Hadar and the village of Taranga; Al-Samdaniya Al-Sharqiya; the town of Jaba; the village of Umm Batna in northern Quneitra; as well as Tel Abu Qubays and Saida al-Khanut in the southern countryside.
According to the agency, Syrian authorities accused Israel of continuing to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, along with raids, arbitrary arrests, forced displacement, property destruction, and the demolition of agricultural land.
