Israeli military discovers Hezbollah weapons sites in southern Lebanon PHOTO

The Israeli military said it has uncovered weapons storage facilities belonging to Hezbollah during operations in a designated security zone in southern Lebanon.

In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said soldiers found sites containing launchers, machine guns, explosive devices, missiles, and other weapons. The military said the facilities and the weapons were dismantled, Caliber.Az reports.

The IDF said the weapons were intended for use against Israeli forces and civilians, and that it would continue operations aimed at removing what it described as threats from the area.
