Istanbul hosts conference on Khojaly genocide VIDEO

The Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul has organized a conference dedicated to the Khojaly genocide.

Speakers at the ceremony dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the tragedy called what happened in 1992 in Khojaly one of the bloodiest events of the last century, Caliber.Az reports, citing Haber Global TV channel.

Thus, Azerbaijan's Consul General in Istanbul Narmina Mustafayeva said that despite the recognition of the events in Khojaly as an act of genocide by the relevant bodies of 17 countries, its perpetrators have not yet been punished.

It was emphasized at the event that Turkish-Azerbaijani cooperation is important for catching the perpetrators of genocide and bringing them to justice.
