Johnny Depp's look-alike seen in Iran

In the Iranian city of Tabriz, at the Shiite religious mourning event of Ashura, a man very much resembling Hollywood film actor Johnny Depp has been photographed. 

The "clone" of the actor raises a stick, thus taking part in the Mishak — reconstruction of military battles, which is held in memory of the Battle of Karbala, The New Arab reports.

The Battle of Karbala is a very significant historical event for Shiites around the world, in honour of which Ashura takes place.

The photo was uploaded on the Internet, and users began to actively try to find out the identity of the person who got into the photo.

The publication writes that the Persian Amin Sales, who works as a model, probably got into the photo just because of his strong resemblance to the star of Pirates of the Caribbean.
