Journalist: Armenians have always betrayed their allies

Armenians have constantly betrayed their allies and are themselves to blame for the current situation, journalist Lilit Kostanyan wrote on her Facebook page, Caliber.Az reports.

"For centuries we have been so loath to solve a problem that it ended up being a disaster and we sat and cried and lamented, wrote odes about it, composed sad songs, moaned, created a business on our tragedies, and then blamed the whole world for not helping us.

But we never admitted that we didn't know how to make a proper 'friendship' with the world, that we would ally with one, then abandon him and run to another, and then also abandon the other and so it goes on.

But under no circumstances will we turn our backs to the ground and admit that we and only we are to blame for the way we are treated.

Sometimes I wonder how we have managed to live up to the 21st century.

Perhaps God still keeps us as a unique specimen," Lilit Kostanyan wrote.
